Blog(posted on 10 Nov 2024)
2024 was a very good year for me. The Gallery in Livermore, California was visited by so many art patrons we could hardly keep up. there were a few artists who moved or moved on and we welcomed a few new artists with varied subject matters, mediums and more! This was a year for introspection for me and I took a break from painting and concentrated instead on my personal life and more grandchildren - 13 to be exact. I love them all and they are all very special and unique. In 2025 I will be stepping up to my easel again with new Winsor & Newton water soluble oil paints at the ready. I stepped away in 2024 from the traditional oil paints and chose to use the safer water soluble oils. I love Winsor & Newton and was so excited to see the addition of the water soluble line. Can't wait to get started. But the holidays are first and foremost to me and my family. Wishing you all the best and safe holidays for all. See you in 2025! Carol Faber Peake |
