AVA is a collection of Tri-Valley visual artists and their friends working together to increase the presence of the visual arts in the region. This includes arts education, shows and just general resources to help artists all over the area.
AVA isn't about replacing the local arts groups, which take the pulse of their local communities and provide shows and education for that area. AVA is about strengthening those communities by broadcasting local events to the Tri-Valley at large and coordinating activities for a more cohesive community.
AVA believes the best way to build the arts community is by involving community members including the artists and their friends. Artists should have a say on the best ways to grow and strengthen the community and then gather together to get the projects done. Get involved now and help the visual arts grow.

Finding art again was one of the most wonderful experiences I have been able to embrace. My kids had all moved out on their own and started their new lives with my love and blessings. They jokingly asked me what I was going to do now that all five of them could "take care of themselves." I had to think about it, so I decided to go back to school and study art again. It had been my passion growing up but I put it on the back burner to embrace being a mom. They supported and encouraged me and well here I am opening up my very first on-line store with Etsy!!
I hope you love experiencing my art as much as I love making these works of art. Thanks for listening to my story and I hope you stop by again and again!
